Mindfulness Kindfulness Half-Day Retreat With Helen
This half-day retreat provides a chance for you to unplug from the stresses and chaos of everyday life, and take refuge and revitalise in this immersive space of calm.
This session will blend mindfulness meditation practices with reflections on kindness. Specifically we will be exploring how we soften, and be kinder and more compassionate towards ourselves and others.
“If you’re not hearing mindfulness in some deep way as heartfulness, you’re not really understanding it. Compassion and kindness towards oneself are intrinsically woven into it. You could think of mindfulness as wise and affectionate attention.” Jon Kabat-Zinn
Participants will have the choice of practicing in a seated position (on chair or cushion) or lying (on yoga mat). They are also free to change position and move as needed throughout the session. It is suitable for everyone – those new to meditation as well as experienced meditators looking to deepen their practice.
