Mindfulness Course For Stress Reduction (MBSR) With Helen

Next Course Starts: 2nd to 7th June 2025

This course synthesises ancient Eastern wisdom on mindfulness with emerging Western science on stress reduction, neuroscience & mind-body approaches. It. First developed in 1979 it is considered the gold standard in mindfulness training and has decades of scientific research to understand the benefits and teaching modalities.

The course has been found to improve participants’ ability to cope with the stresses of everyday life – giving space to respond to situations rather than react. It has been found to help with anxiety & depression, to help manage chronic pain & lower blood sugar levels, to improve emotional regulation; increase attention, focus & memory; and plant inner seeds of resilience, kindness & acceptance.

It is suitable for those new to meditation & experienced meditators looking to deepen their practice. This option offers the traditional 8 week MBSR course format.
