Leadership through horsemanship is a unique and powerful approach to developing one’s leadership skills in a team setting with a horse. As prey animals, horses are highly attuned to their environment and the intentions of those around them. To be able to lead a horse, one needs clear communication, empathy, confidence, emotional intelligence and trust building qualities, much like the requirements for effective leadership in the human context.

Horses respond best to calm, confident and consistent leadership. Additionally, horsemanship fosters the development of patience, resilience, and adaptability, all crucial traits for effective leadership.  Through this course, we hope to transform your leadership style to encompass those qualities, start your journey to compassionate leadership, and so much more!

Mirrabelle has lived with horses since she was 3 years old; and for the past 10 years she has been fulfilling her life`s dream to bring children, adults and horses together in a naturally healing way. She has studied human and horse psychology, and offers consultancy on all aspects of horse care – hooves, nutrition, psychology, riding and therapy. She speaks French, English, German and Tamil.

Sahana, has giving therapy and riding lessons with horses for the past 5 years. She is extremely passionate about the ability of horses to transform lives by their simple yet profound ability to connect with you and look into your soul. Her background in psychology and horse care has helped her make an impact on the lives of people and horses alike.
