Sivaraj Adimoolam was born in Kottakarai, Auroville. He studied at Gandhi Middle School in Kootroad and Isaiambalam School in Auroville. He graduated with a diploma in Siddha Medicine and practices “Healing Touch” through Energy Therapy.

He has 20 years of experience as an herbalist and nutritionist, practicing in Auroville.

Since 2002, he has been the founder and director of the Martuvam Healing Forest and Medicinal Herb Garden Unit in Auroville. He lives in Martuvam with his wife, Malar, daughter, Rajeswari, and sons, Aravind and Auroson.

He participates in community development through the “Auroville Green Belt Service,” managing park areas and conducting educational programs about medicinal plants.
